The Program

This fall, POWERADE® is helping student athletes upgrade their school by awarding a total of $60,000 to high school athletic programs across Louisiana and South Mississippi. Twenty-two local high school teams will win up to $5,000 to spend on whatever your athletic department needs to POWER YOUR SCHOOL! POWERADE® wants to see you and your team succeed!

So what does YOUR team need? Better equipment? An improved practice facility? New uniforms or gear? No matter your answer, POWERADE® and $5,000 for your school’s athletic program could be just what it takes to get you there! Now, it’s time to tell us your team’s story TO WIN.

SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY BY November 30, 2022

Tell us your story: how could YOUR high school use $5,000 from POWERADE® to improve its athletic department?

STEP 1

Find a spokesperson: A teammate, a coach, a parent, a fan... or YOU! Someone who brings POWER to your athletic program.

STEP 2

Develop a 500-word written essay and feel free to upload photos of your team, your gear, and anything else you want to show us.

Judging Criteria

After the conclusion of the Contest Period, a panel of qualified judges determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion will judge all eligible Contest Submissions based on the following criteria (“Judging Criteria”):

Appropriateness/applicability to Contest theme (50% of total score)
Creativity and Originality of Entry (50% of total score)
